Hello! I'm Shem Miller, a security-focused technology professional who believes in creating robust yet user-friendly solutions. My journey in IT has evolved from supporting university students and faculty to architecting enterprise-level identity and security solutions. Currently, I serve as an Identity Security Engineer and Endpoint Security Engineer at Texas A&M University, where I combine my passion for automation with my commitment to strengthening organizational security.

My technical journey has led me to specialize in three core areas:

  • Identity & Access Management: I'm passionate about building secure, scalable identity solutions that protect organizations while enhancing user experience. My work with SailPoint IdentityNow and various IAM platforms has taught me that effective identity management is the foundation of modern security.

  • Endpoint Security: Through my experience managing thousands of devices across diverse environments, I've developed a deep understanding of endpoint protection strategies. I believe in creating security solutions that protect assets without hindering productivity.

  • Automation & DevOps: I'm a strong advocate for automation and efficient workflows. Whether it's writing scripts in Python, building CI/CD pipelines, or developing custom tools, I enjoy creating solutions that make complex processes simple and repeatable.
